Brenden "Grasshopper" Floyd

History

The Harlem Rockets are proud to announce that 6'1" rookie Brenden "Grasshopper" Floyd has joined the Rockets for this coming season.  Brenden is a graduate of the Central State University where he was an outstanding player.

Brenden will fill-in as a point guard or as a shooting guard.  He was given the name "Grasshopper" because of his leaping ability of a 40 inch vertical jump.  Brenden can actually dunk a basketball from a standing position.

Brenden's strengths are listed as a tenacious defender, outstanding passer, knowledge of the game, good three point shooter, outstanding athletic ability, and just a hard worker on and off the court.

The Grasshopper can bench press 350 lbs, and can squat 450 lbs.  Because of his strength, he has
tremendous leaping ability.

The Grasshopper has been an outstanding performer in the summer league against NBA and other professional players by averaging 23 points per game.

The Harlm Rockets Coach, Rick "Rim Rocker" Lopes, was responsible for finding this outstanding player.
