When Scott “The Rock” Coleman joined The Harlem Rockets Comedy Basketball Team, he did not know what to expect. However, it did not take long to show management, his teammates, and The Rockets fans that he is a rare talent whose skills have left everyone talking about his amazing ability. The Rock’s love for the game began on the playground courts of Windsor, Connecticut, where he spent countless hours playing basketball with his friends. He attended Hall High School in West Hartford, where he averaged 30 points per game. The 6’0” point guard continued his basketball prowess at Mattatuck Jr. College and Oral Roberts University, where he averaged 15 points per game while earning his degree. After graduating, Scott jumped at the opportunity to play with The Harlem Rockets, where he emerged as one of the team’s star attractions. He is regarded as the team’s best ballhandler and possesses a deadly outside scoring touch. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of “The Rock” is his incredible leaping ability that leads to dynamic dunks. Being the youngest member of The Harlem Rockets, it is certain that Scott “The Rock” Coleman will be thrilling Rockets fans for many years. Scott took a leave of absence during 1994-95, so he could play Russia. We are very fortunate that Scott chose to return to The Harlem Rockets after the tour in Russia. He is a very important, integral part of The Harlem Rockets GO-GO machinery.
