"Dangerous" Donnie Seal

History

The Harlem Rockets are fortunate to be able to sign a basketball player by the name of "Dangerous" Donnie Seale 6'5", ex-North Carolina State starter for his last three years that can do it all on the court.  He is a tremendous offensive player that can play either guard position because of his size and versatility.  Donnie is a big time scorer, passer, rebounder and awesome defender.

His professional background includes a short stint with the NBA's
Charlotte Hornets and the Denver Nuggets; plus, playing professionally in Germany, Switzerland, Philippines, Honduras, China, Uruguay and Columbia.  Donnie led the teams in scoring and assists while playing overseas in all the above named countries.

Donnie Seale called General Mitchell, President and General Manager of the Harlem Rockets several times during the past summer, wanting to join the Harlem Rockets, and be able to settle down in the United States.  He was tired of globe hopping throughout the world.  Mitchell had only one opening, and agreed to terms with Donnie to join the Rockets.  As it turned out, it was a good marriage for Donnie and the Harlem Rockets.

Donnie is definitely an asset to the Harlem Rockets because of his tremendous playing ability, cooperation and enthusiasm.  He is an outstanding ball handler with excellent size, strength, and speed and meshes well with the Rocket's Johnny "Magic" Dadzie and Brenden "Grasshopper" Floyd in the razzmatazz ball handling skills and routine of the Fabulous Rockets.

Donnie had an illustrious high school basketball career at Eden's Morehead High School in North Carolina.  He was named to the Converse and McDonald's all-American teams.  He was also voted as the Top high school basketball player in North Carolina during his senior year.  Needless to say, he was heavily recruited by over r75 Colleges, and at the end it was a choice of either North Carolina State or Michael Jordan's North Carolina University.  In the final analysis, he chose Coach Jimmy V's North Carolina State.

At North Carolina State, he became a point guard during his sophomore, junior and senior years.  He was a dominant player offensively and defensively for the three years at North Carolina State University, scoring in double figures, and averaging 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game.

Incidentally, Donny plays routinely with Michael Jordan during the summer in the "World's Greatest Pick-up Game" in North Carolina.
